It's Tuesday, June 2th.
Our next day to open will probably be either Friday or Saturday. We'll post on Facebook and our website when we decide. Actually, the berries and the weather will make that decision.

It looks like spring. It may not feel like it in the morning when temperatures drop to the mid 30s. But we have buds, flowers, and a few itty-bitty green berries. Depending on the weather we're thinking possibly by the end of April or beginning of May for the start of our 10th u-pick-em season. Stay tuned and check back here for updates.
Blessings on your day!

DEPENDING ON THE WEATHER
On Tuesday morning, the weather hit the reset button on the berry farm. Temperatures dipped into the upper twenties and stayed there for several hours. Leaves on the fig trees were wilted by the afternoon as were the zinnias and sunflower plants that came up on their own from last year's seeds. Damage to the berries was not as obvious at first but now we can see that the buds are gone, the flowers have black centers and the itty-bitty berries have turned brown. So the start of our 10th season will be delayed probably until May.
In the meantime, check out our friends at Manheim Gardens. Their plant sale is tomorrow, Saturday, from 10 to 1.

FRESH BERRIES.
RIGHT OFF THE VINE.

Welcome to Omi's Blackberry Farm! We are a "pick your own" blackberry farm in Paige, Texas. Our farm is pesticide, herbicide, and insecticide free, so you can sample the berries right off of the vine. And in our opinion, that is just how it should be!

OUR HOURS

Our Blackberry season  will begin soon and we look forward to welcoming you to our farm! Our hours of operation vary depending on the weather, how quickly our berries ripen, and how many pickers we have had. For the most up to date information on when we will be open, please visit our FB page. www.facebook.com/OmisBlackberryFarm/

OUR PRICES

We charge for berries by the pound. Our prices  were $3.75/pound if paying by cash and  a 3% upcharge  if paying by credit. Currently we do not sell pre-picked berries.

PICKING BERRIES

When you come out to pick, you'll be provided with a bucket to pick the berries in and a bag to take them home.
This is a working farm, so watch for watering hoses, pipes, fire ants, creatures, etc.

IMPORTANT INFO

We do not have restroom facilities at the farm at this time.

We love our pets and we know you love yours, but but Good Agricultural Practices and State Regulations do not allow us to have pets  on the farm.
Because this is a working farm, we highly recommend wearing closed toed shoes.
